Brisingamen is the magical amulet Goddess Freya always wears. Brisingamen is a wonderful necklace made from gold and amber that she received from the dwarves. The mystical jewel amplifies her magical powers, serving as a focus to her magics. It's also very beautiful.

Beauty in the Frozen North
Ice, white ice, like a winding sheet covering the corpse of the frozen Northern Lands. Ice on the rivers, ice on the mountains, ice swarming over all.

The Duality of the Goddess Freya
Goddess Freya has many attributes, some of which seem to be at odds with each other. The Lady has powerful magical powers, having brought true magic to Asgard and taught it to Odin at the end of the Vanir / Asgard war. Her magic allows her to heal and to enchant both mortals and her fellow deities.

On the other hand, Goddess Freya is a Goddess of war and battle. Mistress of weapons and fighting, the Lady is the equal of Odin in strength and power. Her valkyries provide Goddess Freya with fully half of the noble dead gathered from battlefields. Her halls of filled with those who fight in her honor.

The Lady has many facets. She isn't just some minor deity, but rather is the most well-rounded and wondrous of all the goddesses.
