As a goddess of both love and fertility, flowers were among her symbols. The keys on her belt symbolized both domesticity and hidden knowledge. The two cats playing at her feet pulled her chariot or wagon. They also were symbols of a happy home life. Her dagger and ornamented armor exemplifies her power and her influence over the battlefield. The overall richness of her clothing expresses her connection with prosperity and fertility.
